I swear people act like this is the first time it's snowed before. My question is: Will some Iowans ever learn how to drive in the snow?

There are enough bad drivers when it snows here in Iowa I can only imagine how bad it would be where it doesn't snow very often.

I swear people act like this is the first time it's snowed before. Fuck, I thought it was coke. No wonder my nostrils sting so bad. Straight and slow gets through the snow, fast and curvy goes topsy turvy.

I was working for an exotic car rental company, and that night our brand new 2004 Viper SRT got totalled.

I always laugh at the TV announcers and weathermen who make a long, drawn-out fricking big deal out of the first storm or cold snap of the year.
Helloooooo....it's the midwest in the middle winter of people!

You'd think the world was ending around here with a low below zero and wind chills in the -10 to -20 range. And it is pretty much the same here as in Dallas Itheus. Missouri may be a midwest state, but it has a southern mentality...people have ZERO idea what to do when it starts snowing outside.
