Something about this doesn't seem right. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that the NFL probably put out an access list and inadvertently overlooked the color guard (I hope that is all it was) and that some over eager anti Military official at the stadium booted them out instead of using common sense. I hope with all my heart that the NFL didn't put out, in writing or any other means, that the color guard would not be able to stay for the game. That would really put a horrible taste in the mouth of a whole lot of big time NFL fans, myself included.

That would be terrible if they can't stay. I too hope that it was an oversight by the NFL and that it gets fixed.

I'd hold off and see how this plays out before jumping to conclusions. Given the backlash that the NFL would get, it is highly unlikely that they would or will prevent them from staying.
Of course, I had a Sailor that wanted to reenlist centercourt at the Washington Wizards court back when MJ was playing. They agreed but we had to buy a ticket for everyone and the reenlistment happened right after the teams left for warmups. Not a single player from either team was present. Still was cool to have about 14,000 people witness a reenlistment.

Master Chief I certainly hope you are right. This would really put a bad taste in my mouth and as much as I hate to say it, I may quit watching the NFL.

What kind of crack are you smoking, fuckface? You REALLY think there is some anti-military conspirator working at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa fucking Bay???

It seems much more likely to me that the NFL thought they could free up some space on the sidelines by kicking out the dozen color guard members. Heck, maybe even sell the space to some BSDs willing to pay for the access.
