Though here's an interesting paradox for you. I own a sports jacket, made by Brooks Bros., Which I found at a consignment shop here in Columbia for 25 dollars. It's in pretty good condition, and I find occasion to wear it a few times a year.
Solid purchase.

If you have a reason to wear one, then I guess you should buy one. If you don't, then you probably don't need to buy one.
If you read a crap magazine like GQ, they'll tell you that you need one. But if you live in the real world, you'll see that practically no one wears them.
I don't think it has anything to do with being poor. Poor people have iPhones and they probably shouldn't.
