Well, I can understand how people would view the world that way: Just turn off your brain, and completely ignore reality, empirical evidence, and the world unfolding around you. It is, at its base (pun intended) a matter of abject, stubbornly self-imposed immaturity and the absence of any meaningful self-awareness.
And so it is with the extremes of human political thought.

Her HBO expose (heh, heh) on Ted Haggard is pretty entertaining...and kind of painful to watch. She's pretty sympathetic towards him, but his self-denial of his obvious sexual orientation is kind of depressing.
