So I took a sick day.
I'm going to run to the store and get some medicine, but also a movie. I want to get a movie that I can't usually watch with my wife (not porn, I have plenty of that).
She hates horror and violent movies - she thought "The Departed" was too violent. Any recs? It probably has to be something relatively new as I'll be renting from the Redbox.

No Country For Old Men. There Will Be Blood. Great movies, but I bought No Country for Old Men, and loved TWBB. Want to buy that one as well.

"W" is pretty entertaining. Dark Knight, perhaps?

I may check out "W". Dark Knight I've seen twice.
Good recs, though.

I think there might be something going around, I'm feeling kinda crappy today too and there are some people here at work saying the same thing.

Blood Diamond, Lord of War,
If you can find it you should check out this movie called "Meet the Feebles", it's pretty crazy.

I ended up getting "Quarantine". Horror movie, and one of the few to actually get decent ratings.

I may check out "W". Dark Knight I've seen twice. Good recs, though. I'm just waiting for that fucking Bond film to finally come out. Lord of War and Blood Diamond are solid recs...BD, however, has been on HBO about a hundred times when I am up with the kid, to the point where I can pretty much recite a lot of the dialogue.

Traitor was the last movie I saw that I would recommend. If you get Brokeback Mountain, make sure you have lots of paper towels and lotion. That movie is HOT!

I liked Quarantine. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys horor movies. Pretty intense.

I've heard that Mr. Brooks is pretty good. I haven't watched it but that's just what I've been told.

Not a movie but Band of Brothers is exceptional and would kill an entire day.

Not mind blowing or anything, but kept my attention and had a good plot. Plus I think Cheadle is an excellent actor.
