It depends on the kind of beer you are drinking in my book. However, for the most part, I like to drink out of a glass. An actual glass, not the plastic party cups.

As all but one or two of the beers I have in a given year (roughly 8) are Guinness... I chose the only non-fucktard mode of serving.

Glass is my favorite way to soak down the suds, unless tailgating. Then it's all about cans.

I really hope no one says that they like it in the can. This would be my father-in-law.....always Miller Lite, can if possible...... I prefer glass, a simple pint is a beautiful thing.

1) Chilled pint glass 2) Chilled mug of any material 3) Glass bottles 4) Plastic bottles (i.e. Miller Lite)
I try to avoid cans at all costs. Yuck.

Beer out of cans is acceptable in three situations.
1) Tailgating/bonfire/float trip/camping trip 2) Absolute dive bar 3) You find yourself unemployed an unable to drink the finer beers in life

With most beers other than Guiness, I think a bottle is the way to go. I probably would say a glass but alot of bars seem to have dirty lines going to their taps or they don't sell enough of the good beers to keep them fresh. Any time I have gotten Newcastle from the tap it always tastes like ass. That is a good example of a beer that is pretty much always better out of a bottle.

And I agree with Twine's point about the quality control aspect of draft's(I love Newcastle as well). Plus, I like my beer highly carbonated. Tap beer is generally on the flat side. This also goes for pouring a bottled beer into a glass. It loses some fizz.

I can ALWAYS taste the can in my beer. Which is way worse than plastic.
