+1.
I NEVER watch or listen to the Pres speak. Boring and pointless. Anything of worth I will hear or read about later anyway.

No. That could never happen. But, I have never listened to ANY POTUS talk when they address the nation. I usually have other shit going on and the speeches are mostly bullshit political jargon that doesn't translate to much that will affect me or my family. I just don't have the patience or time to sit down and try to pick out the actual, real tidbits of info surrounded by filler.

I was unaware that a "nation" invented the automobile, I thought it was some greedy self-interested asshole looking to make a quick buck by exploiting the proletariat who invented the automobile, but maybe I'm mistaken. I guess if we accept the notion that a "nation" invents tangible consumer goods, it will be a lot easier to convince the populace that the "nation" owns the intellectual property in those goods and has the right to confiscate all of those evil profits made in the production of such goods.

Well, that greedy asshole paid his workers enough so that they could buy his cars, something that your ilk would brand "socialism." Toufuckingche. BTW, Bobby Jindal is Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock. What a fucking joke. Oh God! indeed.

What a fucking joke. Oh God! indeed. Well, now is the left saying that Henry Ford invented the car? That's quite a stretch. Anyway, the really amazing thing about Henry Ford's wage scale was that he realized it was in his own self-interest to pay it and he did so decades before the knuckledraggers mandated it. Absent government force or coercion compelling him to pay those wages, I don't think any reasonable person would brand it as socialism. Today's commie pinko Democrats would probably see that wage and rather than complimenting Ford workers and management on their success in being able to run a company that can afford to pay its workers a high wage to attract and retain the best and brightest, deem the expenditures corporate largesse and figure out a way to either outlaw them or confiscate a greater portion of them through the tax system. "Why should a person working on a Ford assembly line be given anything more than a person working on a Buick assembly line? The Buick workers need to feed their families, too. They work just as hard as the Ford workers. As a matter of fundamental fairness, we need to make sure that those Ford workers are paying their fair share and spreading the wealth around. We're only going to raise taxes on those Ford workers because they are rich, they have enough money to pay additional taxes."

GOP-Bingo would be quick and easy, because there would only be two boxes: "Spending" and "Tax Cuts."
The GOP is like fucking Rain Man. Yeah, tax cuts. Definitely tax cuts. Tax cuts. Yeah, spending. Spending at five. Tax cuts. Tax cuts spending. Yeah. Uh oh.

The speech was as expected...."You can do nothing without the help of Government". That being said, it was pretty annoying watching Nancy Pelosi have a standing orgasm every time Hussein strung together an articulate sentence.
