Here is a good reminder of why everyone should quit bitching about how "bad" things are right now. We really don't have it bad. Some of the points that are made on this board are pretty dead on with what Louis CK has to say here.
Enjoy, and quit bitching about how awful the world is these days.

Frankly, the only thing that really keeps me up at night is the amount of US debt owned by those commie fuckers in China. It's a good thing we have nukes.

I'm not worried about other countries. It's not my fault that I'm American and was born in America. Bottom line is some Americans have it pretty bad right now.

I'd still take my trailer, prole existence growing up and winning the birth lottery than have to shit in one of these things for the rest of my life in the second richest country on the planet. God Bless the USA, one of the few places on Earth where one can work hard and go from low prole to, well a dude with a decent job.

No, the bottom line is that even the most prolish American has it pretty good (and CK's point wasn't an America vs the rest of the world point - it was an America now v an America 40 years ago point). It seems like people always cite to the prole single mother with 4 kids and no support system when talking about how bad things are. Do you know what would have happened to that woman in the US in the 1800's (or in any other country at just about any other time)? She would have f***ing starved to death. Quit bitching about how terrible things are and how much the world owes you and appreciate how great times are.

I'm not bitching about anything, but we aren't in the 1800's, so thats irrelavent. We've made progess in those 200 years. It's the people who are having kids and more kids that can't afford kids that need to wise up.
