I gave up smoking for lent this year. So far it has been the most successful lent for me bince last year when I gave up Catholicism. lent id s powerful thing, it saw me donating 20% last year. I absolutely forgot about it last year. My father gives up candy, no shit, come Easter day he eats, pips by the box. He's not even overweight(in fact he's under) but he needs his sugar fix. He's a sugar junkie. I can just see him diging his fingers into his palm, he quit smoking cold turkey (no probs). Processed sugar though, damb, lent is (was) always painful for anybody under his roof.
