Best. Website. Ever. I think I've posted this site before in the Best Sammich thread, but it really deserves its own thread after debuting this artery clogger: The Porkgasm Bacon strips, bacon sausage, ham sausage, ham slices, smoked pork sausage and roasted pork belly surrounded by ground sausage shaped into a pig, wrapped in bacon and roasted. Garnished with chili ears and tail.

Not a big fan of burnt bacon.

I view the burnt bacon as the "heat shield" to protect the other pig goodness on the Porkgasm interior.
Though I understand the aversion to burnt bacon.

That's fucking disgusting. Looks like an autopsy.
I'll take my NY Strip, medium, thanks. Or perhaps a nice filet.

medium to medium well for me. Coat it with a nice pepper rub with an au poivre sauce. Fires on the sides, skip the veggies. Add a nice domestic beer and you got a meal fit for a king. Schlesengiers in Newport News, VA makes this very, very well.

"Skip the veggies".....Master Chief Words to live by. Actually, they are words to die by. Unless you're into cancer and heart disease and other such shit. Keep the veggies. Some steamed broccoli and carrots would be nice, with some lemon. Just keep them crisp. Keep the fries too.

I'm always leery of ordering medium rare, although that is ideal. I don't want a bunch of blood on my plate. I figure with "medium" they can't screw it up too much either way.

Veggies are good with other meals, but with this meal, I don't want them. Prefer potatos in some form. Garlic buttered mash potatos goes well, as do potato wedges. A good salad to lead with raw carrots, various leafy greens, some scallions, croutons, and a light italian dressing. Add in fresh rolls with a nice honey butter. Time for supper..........

You've got to have croutons in the salad (and pepper).

I'd agree with that and I actually like my salad with my meal, not before. I like just taters as the hot side dish with my filet though.
