CNN was interviewing Tom Selleck late last week on the 4:30 show and they asked him about a Magnum PI movie rumored to be coming out. He said it is in the works. They asked him if he was going to play Magnum and he said only as long as they don't try to make him 26 again.
The guy on CNN asked him what his wishes were for the movie and Selleck said, I just don't want them to over-do it and throw in a bunch of explosions and crap. Stick to the show and have it be about the characters, not special effects.
Agree 100% on that. I loved the Magnum PI show and will one day own all the episodes on DVD.

Did anyone see the Larry the Cable Guy roast on Comedy Central? The best joke of the night was when one of the comedians said that Jeff Foxworthy looked like Magnum PI with AIDS.

I know this is crazy, even knowing I was a very young kid at the time. I loved the show, my mom (who hates most soaps- I know it's not quite a soap) loved it. She had a thing for Selleck, not suprisingly...
I come from a family of rule breakers and antagonists, who rely on talent and intelligence to get people to "put up" with them.

Enough of the goddammed old shitty tv shows made into movies.
Jeebus HC, does Hollywood suck ass. All summer movies now basically consist of one of the following: superhero flick, disaster movie, or a shitty tv show made into a shitty movie.
The more I see coming from Hollywood, the more I love video games.
