First we've got these moron Democrats trying to ditch federal deductibility two weeks before tax D-Day. Most rubes pissed about probably wouldn't be affected by it, so fuck them, but I would, so fuck the legislative Dems. I pay more than my fair share in taxes. Get off my back, assholes. Your plan is harebrained. People who care about such shit plan with deductibility in mind. Seriously, dumbshits, drop it and cut your losses. You already lost the narrative.
And then we've got these Republican goatfuckers claiming that if the Iowa Supreme Court upholds gay marriage, they are gonna do something about it.
Uh, no, you shit-in-skulls, no you're not. I really don't give a fuck one way or another about gay marriage, but I do give a shit about the constitutions, Iowa and Federal, and I understand that the equal protection clause exists to PROTECT THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF MINORITIES FROM THE WHIMS OF THE MAJORITY. That's the basic function of equal protection, you jackasses. You can't violate it and the rights it protects via majority rule. MORONS!
God. These elected officials are so fucking stupid that I sometimes wish they'd dissolve and the Big Lug would just govern by fiat. It couldn't be worse.
By the way...that Chuck Hurley dude who hates on the fags is one homo-repressed motherfucker. That guy wants to fuck a dude up the dirt trail worse than a squirrel wants to crack an acorn. Pathetic to watch. I could kick that guy's ass just by looking at him.

Well, thunder, I am impressed by your rant. Finally admitting you pay your fair share of taxes? I like it. Get ready brother, IPERS is going to come out way underfunded over the next few years and rich fat cats like you are going to have to pay up to cover the pension liabilities Branstad and Ray incurred decades ago. Disgruntled with the religious right's lame attempts to ban homosexual practices lest they be tempted by the forbidden fruit? Most impressive.
The United States needs a fiscal conservative, socially liberal party in the worst way. Right now, we just have two fiscally liberal parties who come out on opposite ends of the spectrum on a few really tangential social issues. Quite a load of BS if you ask me.

I've been thinking about this issue quite a bit lately, and I believe you've hit the nail right on the fucking head. Exactly.

Conservatism in all facets of life is the only way. Stop sitting on the fence. Not really. I think that in economic matters, small government with limited safety nets is the way to go. I suspect you think the same way. I think that in social matters such as who wants to sleep with who, who wants to smoke 'dro, who wants to do whatever so long as it does not create an externality on me, small government is also the way to go. Laws trying to dictate some level of morality based on banning contraceptives, mixed race marriages, gay marriages, gay interactions, thought (such as the fairness doctrine) etc. are a waste of resources. Freedom is the best policy. The laws of the US should be limited to governing economic issues and basic protections of freedom from harm at the hands of criminals. Now if you can provide some fact pattern under which you or any American is directly disadvantaged as a result of two gay guys getting equal protection under the laws as a married couple, I'll consider your point, but I honestly don't think you can. What, are you mad that people aren't out procreating and creating another generation of looter proles to tax you more? Personally, I think that's a good thing.
