she is an older lady, in her 70's and does it part time. My wife and I didn't know she was part-time until we told her we wanted her to list our house. At first we didn't think it was a big deal but it became apparent this week that part-timers go pretty much by their schedule, not yours. The priorities on her list were her Easter dinner she was having on Saturday with 20 people coming over, a birthday party for an 80 year old friend of hers, a funeral for a guy she is not related too, and pretty much anything else she is doing at the time. She put up an old picture of the house from 98'. Things have changed somewhat since then around here. We chopped down the tree in the front yard, we did some landscaping in the front yard to try and make it more appealing. She put the old information sheet in the paper too. Shows new windows, etc and they are 10 years old. I feel like an ass for firing an 75 year old woman but in this economy I need someone that is going to bust their ass to sell my house for me. I have also offered a $1,000 bonus to any licensed agent in North Iowa that can sell my damn house. It just felt this week that we were working harder at selling our house than she was. So she got the boot.

In this market, realtards should be working extra hard, not at union speed.
