I think I agree with pretty much all that is said.

The Dick Dale piece in its entirety (it just shows a clip) is great for a starting band with a good DIY ethic. I sent it to a certain band I used to book that was acting fairly lazy.
The only thing I disagree with, is the lead singer saying the internet not adversely affecting the music industry. As much as artists talk shit about the record companies, these are the people that make them famous. When you illegally download, you are taking money from the artist, but even more from the record labels. This obviously hurts the record labels, makes them sign less artists, and take less chances.
And fuck Clear Channel. Long story how I made it in there, but I was at a Clear Channel national gathering in Dallas, at the Wynham Anatole. Jessica Simpson, Lionel Richie, and Casey Casem all made appearances. It was for the 'big hitters' of Clear Channel, the executives, and even the larger DJ personalities. DOUCHEBAGS. ALL OF THEM. COCKY ASS DOUCHEBAGS THAT KNOW THEY CONTROL THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
/end rant.

I've always loved The Central Scrutinizer. The Dick Dale piece was good.
