A big New York firm just announced that the lunch budget, which used to be $65 per person, per day has been cut to $65 per person, per week. Shit must be pretty bad out there. No more double porterhouses for them. My mentee comes on Monday, I already have a reservation for Primehouse.

Lunch is capped at $6/day. What's a porterhouse?

Footlongs are only $5, so you are getting a windfall as far as I'm concerned. You better hope the Fed stops printing money pretty soon or else $4 gas is coming back.

You can only eat so many footlongs before you get tired of them. Thursdays are Subway days, bince the guy that I work with Thursdays seems to like Subway. Thursday is Italiam BMT day. Oh, and they got rid of the $5 ANY footlong thing and cut it back to the 7 or 8 cheapo subs I guess a week or so ago. That really put a damper on things.
