Just kind of wondering. Personally, I'm getting really tired of the springtime sports news attention that a washed up quarterback gets. He may not be bringing it on himself but, my god, its been a media circus for the last 5 years this time of year regarding this one, once great player. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him lose a limb just so he can make up his mind a little easier. It's getting old and I don't see how anyone can really care anymore.

He was fun to watch, but I'm tired of hearing about him. I'm tired of talking about him.
I don't think it's really his fault...more the media...but then again, it wouldn't be too hard for him to come out and say "I'M DONE. GET OFF MY ASS."

I don't know of many people that would turn down $30,000,000 to stay retired. I WAS a Favre fan (when he wasn't being a douche in Green Bay) but I really think he should step aside, and do it gracefully (see Elway, John).

He was a great QB, no question about it, but the antics over the past few years has changed me from being a fan of Favre, to being someone who just looks past him, no matter what it is he chooses to do.
Grow up Brett and let it go.

I thought the rest of Joe Buck Live was more entertaining. Especially when Artie Lange went off on his foul mouth tirade.

The dude, could fall off the face of the planet, disappear for the rest of his life, and I could care as much as I do about a pile of dog shit in my back yard.

They should change the Lombardi Trophy to the Favre Trophy. Lambeau Field should become Favre Field.

By the way.... Might be a little bit of foreshadowing on the Battle of Attention Whores thread. Just sayin....

BTW, I do hope the bitch comes back, so I can enjoy watching the Bears kick his ass two more times.

As a bears fan, I've always felt indifferent towards the vikings. However, I positively hate the packers and want to see favre stomp on their asses.

I hope he goes a few more productive years just to piss everyone off. Signing with my vikes would be a definite upgrade at the position. Hearing dumbass packer fans bitch and moan would be a bonus!

Well, apparently he is possibly announcing a deal with the Vikings today.
I think he is hell bent on ruining his legacy.

I used to like the guy, but now bince he's acting like a complete, attention-whore, he's turned into a fucktard in my book. At this point, if he would just fall off the radar, I'd be happy. Well, apparently he is possibly announcing a deal with the Vikings today. I think he is hell bent on ruining his legacy.

I've never wanted someone to just go the fuck away more in my life. Jeebus, Brett. Really. Even your family must hate your act by now. I WILL enjoy watching Urlacher, Briggs, and company kick the piss out of the geezer for one more season though.

viqueens would've been in the playoffs without him, all you need to do is finish 8-8 in that weak ass division

I don't blame Farve for any of this shit. He said he was done, I believe he wanted to be done, but the Vikings wouldn't get out of his ear BEGGING him to play for them. That 100% has to be the case. The had to have begged him so much and told him they didn't care if he couldn't go a whole season, and wouldn't leave him alone so he finally gave in just to get them to shut the fuck up.

He's historically horrible in domes. He plays eleven games in domes this season, assuming the Cardinals close the roof.

Childress called him and asked him to come back. From what I have heard all the way out here, he was offered a 12 million dollar deal. For 12 million and no having to go through camp, he is getting a hell of a deal. Vikings are going to be very good this year, with AP in the backfield, Farve at QB and Tavarius Banks on the bench where he belongs. Booty will get a good look at experience that few get the chance to see. Go Vikes! They should have a pretty good freaking year if he stays healthy.
