If you are, check out this book:
The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (and how to end it)
I ordered this book after watching both of the zeitgeist movies as some of the subject matters are similar. The only difference is that Icke kicks up the conspiracy flavor a hefty notch and delves into "the true nature of reality".
I bought the book on Monday and am already 200 pages into it. The book is huge (over 600 pages). To say it is fascinating is an understatement.
Some of the subjects he thoroughly discusses:
The True Nature of Reality - Infinite Consciousness
The Human Body Computer
DNA - The Human Body Computer's "Hard Drive"
The world as we know it - which only exists in our minds (through 5 sense reality) - sort of like the Matrix but much more complicated
Religion - Computer programs
Race - Computer programs
The true world - which is only vibrations of varying densities and vibrating speeds (dimensions) connected to infinite consciousness
"The Golden Age" of man - lost civilizations that were far superior to us both technologically and spiritually (Atlantis, etc.)
Aliens - or "inter dimensional entities" of various species/races (Reptilians, Nordics, Grey's, etc.). Some are basically like us but live in different "frequencies" or "vibrations". Some are bad and attempt to control and dominate man (reptilians). Almost all interbreed with humans or have at some point.
Alien Hybrids - 1/2 human, 1/2 "Reptilian" shape-shifters that have established "bloodlines" that have positioned themselves into various leadership roles (politics, banking, entertainment, etc.) and whose goal is a one-world government to which they can most easily control and suppress the true human potential.
Crazy shit that humans can actually do - like time travel. How time is actually an illusion and doesn't exist. How time/history/the world is sort of like a DVD that is "playing". There is the past, what you are watching right now, and the future. But in reality, all of it exists as one at the same time (The DVD). The only thing that changes is your perception or point of view. How alot of "flying saucers" are actually engine-less vehicles designed to help amplify thought into the infinite consciousness and then using that to skip to certain parts of the "DVD", either past or future.
All kinds of other conspiracies like 9/11.
The "Hive Mind"
And all kinds of Taboo subjects. I'm barely scratching the surface here, and I'm only 1/3 of the way through the book.
Anyway, I'm sure most of you will blow this off or talk about how David Icke is a crackpot or a crazy.
But I'm not saying that this is the truth. I'm just saying that this reading material is "FUCKING FASCINATING". It's like super deep philosophy mixed in with some sort of awesome mystery movie. I don't know. It's hard to explain. Completely worth the read though.
I do know that the shit I'm reading has made more sense then anything I've ever learned through religion or other means. What's cool, is he references alot of other authors and books that deal with interesting subject matter. I'm pretty sure the next couple years of my life will be filled with good reading.
Peace.

Sounds like 15 years of Coast to Coast AM boiled down into book form.

Coast to Coast was the best when Art Bell was on it.
Jesus, if you are awake after 11 (maybe 12 or so) you should search the AM dials for Coast to Coast AM. Great radio programming for conspiracy nuts.

Coast to Coast was the best when Art Bell was on it. Jesus, if you are awake after 11 (maybe 12 or so) you should search the AM dials for Coast to Coast AM. Great radio programming for conspiracy nuts. It's funny how people label ideas like these as "conspiracy" and refer to the people that talk about them as "nuts". But they don't apply the same logic to real life. If anything is a conspiracy, it's the religious institutions and banking system. And the people who are "nuts" are the people that buy into it the system hook, line and sinker, without questioning it at all. See, the problem is that we are literally conditioned to think a certain way our entire life. From entering school, to transitioning into the job market, you are conditioned to think in a box they build for you. It is so ingrained, that people literally police themselves. It's sheep mentality. If someone starts questioning the "system", then the masses get all riled up and outcast that person. They call them crazy or "nuts". It's all hilarious and sad at the same time. People literally can't fathom an ulterior motive behind things or that something is wrong with the world because they cannot free their minds from the "bar-less prison" created for them. You can call David Icke nuts. You can call me nuts for reading his books and entertaining the idea that what he says may be true. But, in reality, dismissing the idea as "crazy" based on nothing more then your preconceived ideas and notions is truly what is "nuts". CONDEMNATION WITHOUT INVESTIGATION IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF IGNORANCE - ALBERT EINSTEIN Buy the book, read it with an open mind, then tell me I'm nuts. I'll be more inclined to take your opinion seriously at that point.

Sounds like an interesting read to me, but shit.... I don't even have the time to watch Zeitgeist, much less read a book. "The System" has got this brother down.

Just out of curiosity Jesus, how much do you smoke in order to open your mind before reading/watching this stuff? I don't need to smoke to open my mind. It is always open my brother. But, on a good day, I usually get 2-3 bong loads down me. Sometimes more, sometimes none at all. Depends on the dryness of the town and whether mother fuckers are still trying to sell $70 bags. $70 bags................. .......................I remember bitching my ass off about $60 bags. Now, that's the normal price. We need to legalize medicinal use so I can get a patient card and start growing. I'm just too much of pussy to do it illegally. My butthole is afraid of prison.

I would read this material if it were free. Don't think I'll be buying it though. This is from the review on Amazon: "Amazon.com Review Few can talk with more personal authority about the range of human beliefs than Michael Shermer. At various times in the past, Shermer has believed in fundamentalist Christianity, alien abductions, Ayn Rand, megavitamin therapy, and deep-tissue massage. Now he believes in skepticism, and his motto is "Cognite tute--think for yourself." " If this dude claims to be a skeptic now, I probably won't enjoy his material. Speptics piss me off. They wouldn't acknowledge something as true if it were right in front of their face (that is if they originally were skeptical about it). They don't believe in anything unless it is 100% provable. Well, shit, hardly anything is 100% provable. Sometimes you have to go with your gut man. Although, like I said, I would still read it if it were in front of me. I'm sure it's a little interesting considering his past beliefs. For the record, I hope you guys don't think I'm a die-hard believer in this conspiracy shit. Not that I really give a shit if you did though. I just find it interesting as hell and worthy of additional research/time investment. I am of the humble opinion that I don't jack about the world. But I am certain that the majority of people are damn morons and don't know either. The only difference is most of them will claim to know what they are talking about. Uh oh, I'm begginning to rant here. Is it 4:30 yet?
