They just put one in my building. I used it yesterday to get Gran Torino and I really like the service. A dollar a day for movie rentals is awesome. Bye bye Netflix.

I use it quite a bit...though the selection seems to have gotten a lot shittier lately in my usual spots.

We use it every time we get a movie. We usually reserve them online so that way you know what movies are available and you don't have to rush out and get them before someone else does. And you can't beat the price.
I wish they would add Blu-Ray movies however.

I used Redbox when there was one across the street at the old shithole I lived in on Ingersoll. I've become a pretty big fan of netflix though since you can stream movies in HD onto the Xbox 360 and they send Blu Ray movies as well. The only problem with Netflix is when you get a movie you aren't overly excited to watch they tend to sit on the counter for a while. I have the Bourne Identity at home, should probably watch it since I've had it for about two weeks.

Huh, I didn't know you could do that... www.redbox.com/or more directly www.redbox.com/Rent/RentInfo.aspxThe way i understand it, you find a movie you want to watch then find a red box in your zip that has it. Once reserved, you get a code to type in when you get to the redbox. This allows you to claim your reserved movie. No other fuckwad can take it before you get there.

It looks like you have to create a User account also.
On a side note, I just started my GameFly account back up. This time i choose the 1 game at a time option. First month was $8.98 and 15.98 a month after that.
They are sending me the new Ghostbusters game on Xbox 360. I am pretty excited to smoke up and bust up some ghosts. Anyone played this game yet?

Actually you just hit the button on the front screen that says pick up online reserved movie (or something like that) swipe the card on the account and it shits out your movies. I think there is a limit of two reserved movies per kiosk.

I just rented Gran Torino today. There are some Redboxes that have bluray, mostly at Wal-marts, but they aren't everywhere. None around Cedar Rapids/Iowa City at least. I don't think there are any in Iowa at all as of yet. If you can find one with them though they are only $1 as well. As an added bonus there are promo codes galore so you should rarely have to even pay the $1 rental fee. Start here www.insideredbox.com/

UPDATE: insideredbox.com states that they have now started offering game rentals at $2 a day in Reno, NV.

Fuck Redtwat.
Roll with Hollywood Video, you proles! Especially in Marshalltown, where a cool-assed dude occasionally works part-time on the weekends to earn tailgating money.

I bought a few PS3 games at hollywood video a couple of weeks ago for $5 each. Then too them to the game store to try and make a profit. I made a whole $1.

And it's proof that Hollywood Video sells shit for good prices.
