I dont know man, I buy it. Muskies are huge fish, and i have seen mounted trophy Northern Pike that are abou 70% as big as the Muskie in those pictures. (Im sure your aware that Muskie are a bigger species than Northern Pike)
Pretty Crazy sized fish though. Kinda sad that the bastard didnt snap a picutre or two and release it. A fish that size is probably 100 years old and its to too bad that its dead now.
Ive heard that you average 1 muskie per 1000 casts when your muskie fishing. It a large amount of work.

I was thinking B.S. until I saw that the DNR had taken fin samples and had trapped this fish previously, monster fish, holy crap!

I absolutely think the fish was caught, no doubt about it. I think all the pics are legit EXCEPT the first two. Those are photoshopped without a doubt, you can see the outline of the fish as it has been cut from another photo and enlarged. I think it is a BEAST of a muskie, but not as big as they make it out to be in the first two photos.

I agree with what you are saying Spank. The pic with the DNR worker holding it up is a fantastic pic, the head on that thing is enormous.

Thats a monter. And i buy it. I have seen mounted trophy Minnows around %70 the size of that Goldfish....
