Yea, yea I know I don't buy into all the bullshit that the media hypes up and I am well aware that just as many people die every year from the regular flu virus but stick with me.
My boss as well as our assistant at work have been sick for the last week, our assistant stayed home today and went to the doctor- she has H1N1 and I am sure that my boss does as well, again I would normally not give it a second thought other then the fact that I have a wife at home that is pregnant with twins.
I am not freaked out by any means just knowing that I have clearly been exposed to it and have in turn taken it home scares the shit out of me.
I'm sure nothing will happen but it's still pretty scary with all of the shit that is out there about pregnant women being one of the most vulnerable groups.

I'm sure nothing will happen but it's still pretty scary with all of the shit that is out there about pregnant women being one of the most vulnerable groups. First off, congrats on the impending twins. You have my condolences in advance for the soul-crushing fatigue you're going to experience once the little bundles of joy arrive. Go get your wife vaccinated ASAP. Where are you located? I know that Polk County is getting a new shipment early next week. Also, public health through Dallas County Hospital is having an H1N1 clinic in Perry on Saturday morning at 9. I think they have a very limited supply of the shots, you might want to give them a call www.co.dallas.ia.us/index.aspx?page=18&recordid=515www.co.dallas.ia.us/index.aspx?page=168(515) 993-3750 (515) 465-2483 1-800-811-7565 Don't fuck around with this shit. It's hyper-contagious. I've got nephews that have it, one who already has breathing issues. That kid is going to have to be closely monitored. I got my daughter vaccinated yesterday. I know I've been exposed to it just based on the odds. Like you, I'm not that concerned about getting it myself, I'll survive it...but little kids and pregnant women should not tempt fate. I know all about this virus, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
