Anyone else been having a problem with these little bastards?
With the rain we have been having, they've been coming out of the ground.... and trying to get into houses. I've probably killed 8 or 9 now in our house.
I guess they're pretty harmless, but my MIL did get pinched by one of the little fuckers not long ago.
They hide everywhere. I was even mowing the other night and one came out of the top of the mower after about 20 minutes of mowing. WTF? I'll give them credit, at least they are resourceful when it comes to finding hiding spots.
I guess they like hiding in warm, moist places so I am sure that BTR's crotch has encountered these a few times as well.

Hate them, I've killed several in and around my house in the past 2 weeks, never seen them before this year, I don't know if they bite but the fuckers look like they could inflict some serious pain. I've always had silverfish, and they bite, I can't imagine what an Earwig would do.

Well, we have Black Widow spiders and 4-5 species of venomous snakes.
Quit your sniveling, pussies.

LOL
Not snivelling, just making conversation.
It's mostly the numbers of the little fuckers this year this is the point of the thread. That, and the fact that they are getting into homes.

Well, I did a little research and found out that we have a special strain of earwig here in Georgia - the wild mullet earwig. Here is a picture - pretty fucking scary.

I've been finding these little bastards lately. They are fucked up looking. It kind of freaked me out at first, cause I don't remember ever seeing them before. I'm glad to hear that it's not just that my new apartment complex is bug infested.

I've been battling ants this year. I get a few every year it seems, but usually it's just those tiny little brown ants. This year I've had those big ass black ants. It's not anything major...I only see them from time to time, but I hate bugs. Especially in my house.

It's not anything major...I only see them from time to time, but I hate bugs. Especially in my house. I engaged in a red ant massacre last week. High pressured water followed by chemical annihilation. Haven't seen one since. Took out a bigass hornet nest this weekend too. Must have killed a dozen of those little bastards in one glorious RAID shot. I even knocked a few out of the air. Good times. Lightning bugs, lady bugs, honey bees, caterpillars, butterflies and non-invasive spiders who stay outside and catch pests get to live. Every other insect is on death watch.

As long as I don't get any Suriname toads in my house, I should be ok. Those things are fucking nasty. Or any big hairy spiders for that matter.
