Word.
I get to go see an allergist in a couple of weeks. Psyched. Wonder what drugs they'll put me on. I tried Claratin a few years ago and ended up in the fucking ER with SVTs.
If the disease don't kill you, don't fret...the treatment will.

We were in Chicago last weekend, Saturday night my wife was giving my daughter a hug and she noticed that she was burning up, we went to a pharmacy and picked up a thermometer ( cause we never remember to pack that kind of shit, in motherfucking JULY! ) and she had a fever of 102. We are 4 hours from home, staying in a hotel and my daughter is sick, we got her some Motrin and Tylenol and got through the night and Sunday, she complained of headaches and is now coughing like crazy. Took her to the doc today and he told us that there isn't anything he could 'scribe her, just to continue what we were doing. We'll probably all get sick but we are on vacation this week and Adventureland is tomorrow. so yeah, fuck summer colds, fuck em in the asshole

If the disease don't kill you, don't fret...the treatment will. . Is this your first time going to the allergy guru? It's a pretty interesting experience. When I was a young lad, about 13 years old, I lived on a farm doing farmwork every day for several hours after school and on the weekends. Unfortunately for me I had hay fever and about 15 other allergies that are common in the farmlands of Iowa. Anyhoo, I had snot dripping down my face for a few years and my stepdad always chalked up to me being a whiny little bitch. Since the teachers asked my mom to send me to school with an extra box of Kleenex, she thought it might not be a bad idea to take me to the allergy doctor. What they did was draw a chart with about 100 lines on my back and poked me with different allergens that could cause a reaction. The ones that caused swelling were the ones I was allergic to. They identified what I was allergic to and I went to get shots once a week for about 4 months and I haven't had allergies to anything except the long haired cats ever since. Maybe things have changed since then, this would have been around 1993 or so.

I had an endoscopy a few weeks back (felt the whole fucking thing, btw) and it revealed esophageal irritation indicating allergic reaction. So I have no idea what the testing will involve and I'm not inclined to google it. Although I'm sure I will. I had all of the farmland allergies too. Cats do quite a number as well. Shit, I should have been tested 25 years ago. Guess we'll finally find out what's nailing me. Hope it's not wheat for crissakes...I love wheat beer.

My daughter had continuous ear infections for the better part of a year. She had tubes six months ago and her ears have been as clear as a mountain stream ever since. Tubes are a no brainer.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else but I remember him telling me of the excruciating pain involved.

Most traumatic experience of my life. They didn't knock me out or numb me. I was only about six. I should've sued their fucking asses, but I was young enough where I just thought that was getting tubes in your ears was about. I'm not fucking around...most pain I've ever experienced, and there's not a close second.
