OK...while not nearly as interesting nor perplexing as Twine's possible job change and relocation, need some advice here.
I'm taking an 11 year old to the State Fair and Adventureland in August. Do I, or do I not ride the Silly Silo at Adventureland?
What say you?

Well it all depends on how strong your stomach is. I happen to have an iron gut...I can ride twirly whirly round and round rides all day. If you're the same, go for it. Just know that there's not worse ride to thow up on.
And for the love of god, get pictures!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, ride the silly silo, that thing is awesome.
ALso if you get wet, on the log ride or the other innertube ride, this is a good ride to get on at the end of the day a few times in a row to dry off before getting in the car for the trip home.
If i remember right, the last time i was on it (at 27 years old and 215 pounds) the silly silo almost didnt have enough spin to stick me to the wall. My fat ass started sliding down the wall, which is unfortunate.

If you are feeling under the weather at all I would't ride it. I'm not big on spinning around real fast though. Just ride the ferris whell over and over, maybe the sky lift too.

Agreed. and also not a good idea if you just ate a couple of corndogs or whatever else shitty "county fair" food they sell there.

I just took my kid there on Monday. I took her on the tilt a whirl and I didn't think I was going to make it, I came off of that thing a shade of green and wasn't quite the same for the next 2 hours. I used to be able to go on that stuff with no problems, no more I guess. I didn't even consider the silly silo after this experience.

I'd just ride that Space Shot over and over. You can't beat a rocket launch and free fall when it comes to an adrenaline rush.
I'd only do the Silly Silo on an empty stomach. In fact these days I wouldn't do it at all.

Typically, circles=sick for me, but the Silly Silo is one thing that I could always handle. Probably because I just picked a person across from me to look at and kept my eyes locked on them. I was the Damien of the Silly Silo. On a side note, I can't even remember the last time I went to Adventureland, or any other kind of amusement park for that matter.
