This is a good documentary I saw via my instant queue on Netflix. Interesting look into the world of craft beers and microbreweries, and their struggles to compete against the "Big 3" (Miller, Coors, and A-Busch).
Definitely worth the hour and a half.

I've seen it, good stuff! Felt bad for that lady who was trying to market her own beer ( she left Sam Adams, which wasn't real smart IMO ) and wasn't having much success.

Caffeinated beer. It was amazing to me how ruthless A. Busch is. They have the money to spend to sue small microbrews. As an example, Dogfish Head was sued by Busch for their name "Punkin Ale", saying the name was to "broad".

and their product sucks donkey dick. For the most part they really do. I was disappointed to find out they make both Shocktop and Hoegaarden. I like both of those...

I've been primarily drinking New Belgium products for quite a while, right now Ranger is the choice. If I'm going on the cheap I'll break down and buy Busch Light.

Did they get into the history of Sam Adams at all? I heard him in an interview once and he was talking about his divorce. The wife got the house and he got stuck with his little brewery that was struggling. The next year he won the international medal and he quickly became a bazillionaire.

IIRC they didn't get into the history so much with Sam Adams, it's been a while since I've seen the movie, Itheus would know for sure.

They talked about Sam Adams, but didn't talk about that particular part of it. That's a pretty good story, though!

I almost exclusively drink New Belgium or German beers these days, with an occasional Guinness mixed in. I'll drink a Sam Adams if those aren't on tap or otherwise available. I don't drink much anymore so I make it count.
The mega brewery beers are just absolute horse piss compared to the aforementioned products. I'll have a Coors or Bud or Michelob occasionally but only if someone gives it to me. I don't buy that shit myself.
