Everyone is shocked, SHOCKED that a college student was doing cocaine over there.
FUCK, I saw it every Friday in the Bathroom at Bo James during FUCKING FAC, which fior some unholy reason no longer exists.
Anyhow, I could give a fuck if DJK was doing some blow. Never been my cup o tea, but whatever, kids do drugs, adults do drugs, and seniors live on drugs.
The issue was where he was living and how that came to be. There are only two options... either DJK was hated by everyone on the team, so they didn't give a shit where he lived or what kind of situation he was in. Or they knew but they didn't care enough to change it or go to KF and have him demand to move.
A team with leaders goes up to him and says, "DJK, this isn't a good situation for you or the team, come live with us." He says no, they go to the coach.
It's the lack of leadership by everyone else on the team that is troubling to me as a Hawkeye fan, not that a college student had some of the white witch.
As usualy, the nation doesn't get it. Are there any intelligent posters over there?
I like that CAARHawk guy, someone should invite him over.

About the same timeframe as me and my friends. We've probably drank until the sun came up.

Drinking until the sun comes up was called drinking for zadar's, because you would drink until hamburg inn opened up at 6am.

I got 2 words for everyone: Ronnie Harmon
25 years ago Ronnie Harmon embarassed this program and institution on a national stage.......yet when you walk by Kinnick Stadium there is a huge banner of the guy celebrating the 85-86 Rose Bowl team.
In 25 years, the UI will invite DJK back if he is still the all-time WR and all will be forgiven.
Iowa Football loves their heroes no matter the indiscretion. Everyone's current reaction will only be remembered by a few in time. As for people being "shocked" this could happen, they are simply naive or retarded.

I still remember the shitfest that was 1997 and this year surprassed that. i'm still pissed about the 97 team, in 12 more years I'll still remember it. In 2035, I'll still remember this fuck up as well.

I will say this: regardless of the other crap, there has never been so much as a whisper that DJK has done anything on the field except perform to the best of his ability. Therein lies the difference between him and Ronnie Harmon.
