Due to the lack of population growth from the 2010 census, Iowa will be losing a representative to the House (5 to 4). I am praying Steve King's district gets removed!!!!!!!

What you're likely going to have is a merging, more or less, of King and Latham's districts since that's where most of Iowa's population loss (to more urban areas) has occurred. There are more pigs per square mile in western Iowa than there are people. It's a fucking time-trapped shithole. Beautiful landscape, ugly people.
There will still be a Republican stronghold in the west and a Democratic stronghold to a lesser extent in the east.
In Iowa redistricting is done by a computer analysis to keep it as nonpolitical as possible.

I don't suppose we could send King and my representative (Paul Braun) to the same island, could we? Prefereably one of those sealed islands full of nuclear stuff?

Those fuckers in Nebraska have it even worse their entire state west of Omaha and Lincoln is a dead zone that takes what feels like 50 hours to drive through.

I'm pretty sure I've had highway hypnosis around North Platte on more than one occasion. I've been flying out to CO much more frequently than I used to. That fucking drive can be brutal.
