No possible way these two teams reach the Super Bowl.

You're just a Lions fan because your "spooning partner" Steve Deace is a Lions fan. Come to the dark side and be a Bears fan. You can actually talk about things like "tradition" and great Super Bowl plays.

I was a Lion's fan the moment I discovered the best running back ever, Barry Sanders.

Home of the all-time career leading rusher Emmitt Smith. It's ok, no need to bow down. Let the cocaine and rape jokes fly, I have heard them all about a million times now.

Fuck Emmitt Smith. Put Barry Sanders behind that line and he would have been at 10,000 yards in 4 seasons. Best ever.

Barry certainly was one of the all-time best. And would have easily owned the record had he stuck around. BUT, he played for the Lions, not the Cowboys. I am a Cowboys fan, not a Lions fan. THUS, Emmitt is the best ever in my eyes. Thanks for playing.

The best ever was Gale Sayers. Next was Jim Brown, then Walter Payton. Emmitt was the product of a system and a fucking incredible OL. He may not even make the top-10, otherwise.

I guess I missed the part where Sanders / Sayers / Payton, etc. weren't part of a system... they must have played alone... and Emmitt never had to face a linebacker?

Thank you, Bluz, for the voice of reason. What we see here in Bluz's post are TWO Bears RBs, fellas. Now, if you guys want to talk great QBs, I'll just go find another thread to add to.
