I am going to be pleding not guilty to a red light ticket tomorrow. Think I should even try and fight it? I went through a yellow light, but she pulled me over anyway. I also got a ticket because I didn't have an updated proof of insurance in my car, I gave her the 2009 effictive date. Fuckin' sucks. I have it now, and just need to show it tomorrow I guess.
First time ever going to court for me.

Wasn't one of those fucking camera stoplights, was it?

She might very well have been a bitch but I would suggest in your first court appearance that you don't use that in pleading your case to the judge.

If the officer show up, you will probably lose. In some states, though, by showing up you will have the chance to plead no contest or something and pay a fine with no points on your license, which will still be worth it.

I got popped for pissing in public when I lived in AZ. I showed up to court and the judge dismissed the charge after asking me to tell her what happened. Told her the truth, she snickered and dismissed everything.

Told her the truth, she snickered and dismissed everything. That's pretty much the exact setup for a 'hot judge/desperate defendant' porno I saw once. Except in the movie, the 'judge' needed the 'accused' to present his johnson as 'evidence', and it went from there.
