Crohn's? My poor old mom was afflicted with that curse That's the one affliction I have not been diagnosed with. However, the symptoms for UC are basically the same.

What is that exactly? Does your intestine get pinched or blocked or something? Colon gets little pockets that get infected. Somewhat painful. In my case some of the pockets ruptured leaking bad stuff into abdominal cavity.

I have ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, and ulcers too! Getting old sucks! You sir, in the near future, will be getting a shit transplant (not joking). Similar to how they found ulcers are simply bacterial infections, they have found that most (all?) issues that you speak of are simply people having fucked up biome's in their guts. Whether due to an anti-biotic you took or the evolution making a bad bacteria the dominant one in your intestines... or whatever, your good/bad bacteria mix in your gut is out of whack. In the studies, people with terrible chronic situations (worse than yours) find a relative with no similar issues (usually the spouse), get a healthy sample from them, blend it up, squirt it into your guts (I've read they have done it from either end... tube up the butt or a feeding tube up the nose)... voila, cured overnight. Shit-transplants... the wave of the future.

He is correct though, read an article about it recently. I'll have to see if I can find it.

What is your position on colonic irrigation, CoSal? Dammit... I misread your post. I thought it said irritant... and as such, you were immediately banned until midnight. 30 seconds later, I reread what you actually wrote, and you were unbanned. To how I initially read your question, I remove the irritant. To your actual question, I have no position.

Socal is correct. CF maybe you need to listen to that video and brew up a concoction. articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/06/27/probiotics-gut-health-impact.aspx
