Tell me why I should care that they know about this website, and know that I am posting about it?
Is it creepy? maybe. But ultimately, in the brave new world, I'll make this trade every time to lessen the chances that some terrorist asshole is getting on my airplane.
Why should I care? This idea that somehow this ruins our experience as Americans is silly. It's 2013, just like the idea that we need a right to bear arms so that we have the ability to overthrow our government is just a tad bit antiquated.
VIVA LE NSA!

Gawd, the American education system is so fucked up when it fails to teach young skulls of mush about individual liberty and civil rights. We are now producing generations of sheeples -- everything comes from a central government.

Nobody at the NSA is monitoring this site. Hell, it takes up almost my entire full time job just to keep an eye on the brokedick proles who populate this site. Can you imagine how many spooks it would take to monitor a site with moar than 30 people?

Well this has made strange bed fellows of the far left and the tea party. This is what I find funny. The Patriot Act lovers on the far right didn't have a problem with it when Bush was in office, now they are outraged when Obama is. The far left was outraged when Bush signed the Patriot Act into law (including President Obama) and now don't have a problem with it since Obama is in office.

I gotta say I don't know what privacy right is implicated in information you readily send to your third party phone provider. As long as they ain't tapping, probably none. And the shitshow of data that they get has to be so god damned large that it is impossible to sort through even with the world's fastest supercomputers.

If they're really saving all of the data transferred over the internet, locating something specific would be liek searching for the thinnest needle in a stack of needles that is the size of Wyoming.

Dafaq? Someone gave me an avatar? Jesus eh? Nice. I think Socal set it up so if you don't have an avatar selected, that is the default. It probably pays homage to former Wasteland all-star poster, theJesus, who according to twine passed away.

Tapping is so 1970s. According to former NSA official William Binney, Uncle Sugar has been not only collecting metadata from telephone carriers, but he also has been STORING content on calls and monitoring computer activity down to the KEYSTROKE. Additionally, the Washington Post is reporting that the NSA and the FBI are interested in everyone's audio, video, photographs, emails, documents and connection logs. U.S., British intelligence mining data from nine U.S. Internet companies in broad secret programRichard Nixon must be watching all this from wherever he is with a woody.
