Thank you DirecTV.
Channel 647 carries every single Cardinals game, including pre and post game stuff.
In 1080i HD
FINALLY!!! I'm out of the Cardinals broadcasting dark ages, living north of Chicago, stuck to suffer with Cubs and only Cubs for far too long.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you

Just one question:
Is watching the Cardinals get their butts kicked more fun in HD than it is in standard def? ;D

Hey Seth, did you see the debut of Rico Washington last night? The career minor leaguer (11 seasons almost 4000 ABs) finally makes it to the bigs and gets a double first at bat. Pretty cool.

Thompson leads Cards past Rockies 3-0
ST. LOUIS - Brad Thompson had a career-high six strikeouts in 6 2-3 innings and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Colorado Rockies 3-0 Thursday.
The Cardinals took two of three from the defending NL champions, who totaled five runs in the series. Colorado was 3-for-25 with runners in scoring position, two of the hits coming in the finale, but Todd Helton was thrown out at the plate in the sixth.
Albert Pujols wrapped up a 5-for-10, three-walk series with two hits for the Cardinals, whose string of 165 consecutive regular-season sellouts ended with an announced attendance of 39,915 Wednesday night. The crowd was listed at 33,748 for the series finale at new Busch Stadium, which opened in 2006.
Should have been a sweep bince the Cards were leading 5-1 in the first game when it got rained out.
