Not only was that a fun night out, with Iowa winning, that nice young lady is my brother's new squeeze.

Yeah, she was pretty cute and nice to boot! Have him join the fun (shall I call it that?)
Seth....when are we all getting together again? Perhaps on a Saturday when we can stay out late and cause some trouble somewhere.

I'm prolly going to WhiskeyFest on Friday, but either day this weekend would be cool with me. I don't know if barber will be in town. He just moved back to Omahall and will only be in Chi a few times a year now. Bince leonbt is coming the 12th for a Sox game, there is a good chance that barber will pick that weekend to come back to get the rest of his stuff from his apartment. Ain't dug supposed to be in town too? Maybe socal can get the hall pass too. Plus, I'm sure dirtyhippiehawk and bucketohippie will be able to find time to have a brew.

Sunday is definitely a no-go for me. I'm off to NYC city Sunday afternoon and unlike BTR, I'm not a AA Gold so I'll be sitting in economy with the other great unwashed-masses (i.e. the "poors"). Out for the balance of the week.
After that, weekends are pretty good.

Just saw this thread - I might be able to grab a micro or Euro brew at some point, it just depends on if I'll be at the commune this weekend playing in drum circles and baking gluten-free organic cookieballs and working on my henna tattoo designs for the big Moon Festival next month. Plus we still have to figure out a place for people to park their recycled fryer oil-powered Microbuses and a new compost pile location. Behind the spelt garden, maybe? Plus I heard Ed Begley might be coming to give a workshop on making clothes out of recycled trashbags and barbershop floor sweepings. So it might be a pretty busy weekend. Plus church, of course.
Actually though, Iowa City's own Public Property will be playing at the Glunz Alehouse (or whatever its called) up on N. Lincoln tomorrow night, so we might try to hit that up. They're a good band. I don't really like reggae very much (except for Bob Marley, of course), but they're actually quite good - great female vocalists, and they're from the 319 (and good friends since high school), so it's worth the $5 cover or whatever to support them. But I'm married, so to be honest I have no idea what my plans are yet.

If it's far, I'll have to beg more used donut oil to power my car to get there. However, when one drives, it has a nice smell that makes you hungry.
