One of my favorite blogs linked to it today. I don't make a habit of reading most of the major newspapers...or really any newspapers at all.
I listen to the radio all day, so I get most of my news from ABC Radio. I'll check up on cnn/msnbc/fox websites a little bit, but rarely do I stray further than that.

He should have played something everyone recognizes like Beethoven or Mozart. Bach was a genius, but people don't really recognize a lot of his music. The performer probably did play some recognizable pieces though, but they only mention Bach and in the videos I didn't recognize the music. He played it well though, of course.
People recognize classical music from commercials. They don't really appreciate it because in their mind they associate it with those commercials. I'm like that too. A little Beethoven's 5th or Mozart's Eine Kliene Nachtmusik might have attracted more people and money I think.
