I chuckle whenever I think of some Cryfagit checking out this site and seeing a 40-page "Thug Jason Berryman Is Dead" thread.

"To continue to develop one of the top football programs in the country, we need to look down the road." So much laffy. It's actually kind of a shame, though, cuz I ain't got a problem with Iowa State academically, but a school like that honestly should be looking down the road at the school, not football. Whatever they think is gonna happen for football just ain't gonna happen and even if it does, odds are it ain't gonna be worth the cost of making it happen.

You have convinced me. No degree of educational funding is going to improve the student body. Throwing money at it will be as ill-advised as Zuckerberg's $100 million gift to the Newark Public Schools.

But but but but. Can't the computer department build a program to fuck the banks out of funds and divert said funds to bowling?

Shit getting serious in the SEZ thread. How did ISU come up with the magical total capacity of 61,000 you ask? ? Seating capacity-
Sidelines: 42,500 + SEZ lower bowl & club seating: 7,500 + SEZ upper bowl: 5,800 = 55,800 Total
You need 5,200 crammed into the NEZ hillsides & Jacobson to reach 61,000. Keep in mind about 300 of that will be the ISUCF"V"MB. We'll easily reach that for our games against UNI & EIU at the beginning of the 2015 season.and this- So the official Physical seating capacity will be 56K if you include the band seating?
Cram and litterly cram 4K people on each north hill and you have 60K
I think we have kind of screw ourselves into adding onto the NEZ because of the scoreboard, jake and tunnel
I think the best thing they could do for now is sexy up the north. Dress up the supports for the scoreboard to get away from the I-35 look. And maybe do something like put up something to give the feel of being closed in.
Could be something as simple as a Giant wall in front of the north walking path with past players, logos etc.... That gives it that 360 feel. think of it like selling your house. doing something to make it look bigger, intimate etc...
I long for the day where we all know what the official capacity is. Its like yep. 60,243. Thats it. No more With GA hills we will never be able to do that.
Cant believe I am seriously talking about the NEZ right now. I just want to win 6+ games next year. That makes everything better. They are counting on 4K to 5K hillside "seats" in their total capacity. Jesus do they try hard to make up numbers to compete with the big boys.

TROLOLOLOL!!! Clowns started a thread bragging about how many guys have been signed as undrafted free agents during the Rhoades era. This knob comes up with this big long list wif liek 20 players on it, and idiots are liek "proves how much recruiting has improved" and "This makes ISU look good". News flash tards, you know how many Clowns are in the NFL? FUCKING 6!!! Getting "invited to camp" is nothing. Of those 6, two never played for Rhoades. And for the record, I'm counting their current draft pick as making it, and Jake Knott as not making the roster again, since he got popped for teh drugs. cyclonefanatic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=188822

The little cyclone club is $49 and any kid under 18 can get into any sporting event for free. That includes every football game on the hill side seats but not da only decent program they have (excludes all men's bball games)
Also hill side season tickets are $99 for adults.

cyclonefanatic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=188839This one is good too. They are discussing regent Rastetter's comments on how Iowa is not very welcoming to in state prospective students. I especially love this one... "Dwindling fanbase, dwindling university. In the next 30 years as the DSM metro continues to expand and grow and eventually DSM and Ames become "combined" with a population greater than the next 5 biggest metro areas in the state combined both EIU and NIU are going to suffer. The only thing Iowa City is going to combine with is the World's Largest Truck Stop."

I had an ISU coworker spout off at me lately because there were moar people at the ISU Tailgate Tour than there were at the I-Club stop in Des Moines. Of course the idiot failed to realize that almost half of the attendance of the ISU stop were children and the ISU stop is free admission where the I-Club event charges $15 which included a catered dinner. I asked him how many would show up and bring their kids to the ISU gangbang at $15 a pop. He failed to answer me.

Goddamn these insecure fagits are annoying.
