The liberal media has done such a good job of painting the Repubs as so rich and powerful. I'm at a loss as to how the hell McCain's income was so much lower than the Clinton's and Obama's last year. He earned about a tenth of what Barry made and about one-fiftieth of what the Clinton's made. I better switch to a Democrat if I want to be rich.

Oh, master of the BS canard...
If only you would look at Cindy McCain's tax return, you would find you are quite mistaken.
...But it's good Barack's books are selling well.

Cindy's distribution from her business was $432k and she signed a pre-nup, so it ain't John's money. Hell, ever since that Heinz guy died and Theresa and John F. Kerry converted all the ketchup monies to the Dems, the Dems have been rolling in cash. Gates. Buffett. Soros. Obama. Clinton. It's a who's who of the rich and powerful.

Republican voters generally aren't rich and powerful. They are backwater hicks that are so disillusioned with poverty that they cling to guns and religion. Then there's the Republicans who *think* they're rich and powerful. They just like to call people names and try to blame someone for their high taxes.
Yeah Cindy McCain is the silver spoon liberal elite breadwinner. John is the politician guy. John's money came from book royalites too, but his books didn't do quite as well as Obama's. I like how McCain donates 1/4th of his income to charities. No doubt he and wife's charitable contributions are funneled through her politician husband's tax forms. Plus he knew he would be running for president. I'd have contributed 50%.
I actually read this article.

Barry's message of hope seems to be reaching the masses.

Barack Obama thinks I'm rich (but I doubt he thinks I'm powerful, though he hasn't seen me bench - at least to my knowledge). As an aside, do you think I'd get a lot of play if I put "Barack Obama Thinks I'm Rich" on a t-shirt and started sporting it to the bars?

Or how about the Kennedy's supporting the death tax when they have over 500M sheltered in offshore accounts.
