I haven't seen an asswhooping liek this bince that Iowa-Arizona State game in 2004. This is a turn the TV off and get to bed before your buzz wears off kind of game. But I'll bet somewhere in Brazil there's a guy doing his best impersonation of my dad's buddy during the 86 Rose Bowl - "There's still time. We can still come back."

Man, I just watched the first half on demand on Comcast (Univision bince the assholes at ESPN have a one day delay) and I must say the Mexican fella damn near tossed his vocal chords yelling GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. The German team is truly the epitome of Germany. They knew every weakness of Brazil and went straight for the damned jugular. Excellent team play with guys making the extra pass rather than taking the bad shot themselves liek most other teams do. Truly amazing coaching and execution.

Interesting take on fussball in die Vaterland. Didn't read. But is it about how Bayern München has pretty much dominated Euro Club football the past 5 years fielding a team full of German players playing German style. Then liek half of the German national team is Bayern München players who have been playing together since they were 12 years old.

Also Russia had all Russian League players and didn't make it out of the group stage. Sure it helps that several of them play on the same club team but that isn't the reason why they destroyed Brazil.
