Listen socal, get your party's act together. W has pissed down his leg and the Republicans are weak. A moderate Democrat would have won the general 54-46 or worse. Now these two far leftists are racing further and further to the left and moving away from the moderates that you will need to win the general. If the Democrats lose this election, the party should be dismantled and have its assets sold to close the deficit.
I find it very hard to believe that your idol Howard Dean would have done any better as President than W.

He said "hope" once (within 3 seconds of me turning it on) and "change" seven times. He started off a little slow on the "change" but near the end he really got it going. He did not say "hope for change" or "changing hope."

I don't know if the party needs dimantled, but Billary should be kicked out. She is destroying this party by herself, all the while McCain is preparing his inauguration speach because of what this bitch is doing.
Could it be possible for her to not want a Dem to win the election in November (if she isn't the candidate) so that way she can run again in 4 years?

I don't think Hillary has anyone's interests in mind other than her own. If Hillary gets the nod, I'll be voting McCain. No doubt in my mind about that.

Could it be possible for her to not want a Dem to win the election in November (if she isn't the candidate) so that way she can run again in 4 years? She is clearly doing this. Ever since the days she ran with that anarchist Saul Alinsky and wrote her America loathing essays about how awesome Saul Alinsky is, she has wanted nothing more than to be POTUS to install her special brand of new and improved socialism. She knows that if Barry wins the nomination and then the general, she is out of the picture in 2012. Then, if he won again in 2012 (quite a stretch, but it's possible), she probably wouldn't even have a shot in 2016 because Barry's VP would get the presumptive nod. She knows that this year or 2012 (in the event she can derail Barry) are her last chances. Leaving aside the fact that I lean Republican and think she is screwing over her own party, I like what she is doing. Personally, I think her Machiavellian drive is kind of hot. That would be the ultimate cougar to bag (with enough booze, of course), but I'd split like hell when the hunt was over (for fear of ending up like that poor bastard in that Steven King movie about that crazy gal) and she'd be left wandering the town looking for "Colt Seavers."

And we have a winner. Hillary is the most self-centered, egotistical person that I've seen in a long time. She is continually self-promoting, even though Americans find her unlikable and untrustworthy. Go figure. I would vote for just about anyone before I would vote for her. I don't know if the party needs dimantled, but Billary should be kicked out. I'd vote for SoCal's avatar before Hillary. Poop smelling monkey for president...

I am officially getting tired of this back and forth as well. Not intersting anymore. Dems can't decide squat, while McCain drinks beer and grills out on his deck in Sedona or Cornville or wherever. 55-45, 45-55, 52-48, blah blah

Dems can't decide squat, while McCain drinks beer and grills out on his deck in Sedona or Cornville or wherever. 55-45, 45-55, 52-48, blah blah That's because that is all McCain CAN do. The more money he spends before the Republican convention is more money he has to pay in fines / more jailtime. McCain should feel very fortunate to be tied with / slightly behind the Dem candidates right now, as they have been the ones devoting their attention towards each other - instead of him, and Iraq isn't improving - nor are Bush's approval ratings going up. Like the early 90's NFC title games between the Cowboys & 49ers vying to play the Bills... this is the championship game.

I'm sure McCain is getting really nervous about going to jail. You and your Daily Kos brethren can keep stroking yourselves hoping that it will happen, but it won't. When's that attack on Iran coming that you guys have been predicting for 5 years? I'm afraid you've gone too far to the left yourself to realize that America doesn't necessarily want anything to do with far left presidential candidates. "Former Sen. Nunn is sometimes mentioned as a possible running mate for Sen. Obama. In a better world, Sam Nunn (or a David Boren) would have been the party's candidate for president. Such candidacies remain impossible under the iron law of Democratic primary politics: No centrist can secure the party's nomination in a primary system dominated by left-liberal activists. The iron law produces candidacies such as McGovern (1972), Mondale ('84), Dukakis ('88), Gore ('00) or Kerry ('04), who pay so many left-liberal obeisances to win in the primaries that they cannot attract sufficient moderates at the margins to win the general election." online.wsj.com/article/SB120899521565139921.html?mod=todays_columnistsThat was a helluva list of winners there. But this year's far leftist will get better results. Raising taxes and stopping free trade didn't work in the '30's, but it will work this time, damn it. Don't forget socal, the only thing in this country with as shitty of an approval rating as W is the Democrat controlled Congress. I wouldn't call Vegas just yet if I were you. And oh by the way, according to your MoveOn allies, the Democratic smackdown last cycle between Dean, Kerry and Edwards was going to be the war to end all wars with Howard Dean annointed the next POTUS by you and your liberal allies days before the Iowa Caucus. Remember?
