Too bad they didn't just steal that janky van. I reckon it's insured for moar than it's worth, given how busted you make it sound. I still think there is something still wrong with the front end. As I told you initially tow the thing to Dodge, you can't risk a break down on the highway, keys in it, hit the tavern for a few beers, return a few hours later and all problems are solved.

Park it in the Flats, it will be gone before you make it to the bar.

Have it towed into the flats. Better to risk the life of some flat bed driver than your own Red.

Did you find the dickhead yet Red? We'd love to see the youtube of the epic beatdown he gets from you. No dickheads found but I'm sure they are around. Mr Grant has been parking his truck behind the van for the last few days. Just got it rekeyed today at Toyota. Was an expensive lesson for my lazy ass not to have walked out there and locked it. The fucking loser must check the fucking lock every night. I also figured out that he (I'll say "he" because we all know that it was a he) took my Garmin. It was not in site at all...in one of the compartments and the cord was in the glove compartment. Quite frankly I haven't used it in over a year. I haven't updated the maps even longer so if the bastard uses it, I hope it directs him to drive off a bridge somewhere. I have to find the box to get the serial number to give to the cops, so they can put out an APB at the pawn shops for a 4year old Garmin. I had a thought that maybe it was someone that knew where it was...like a recently fired mechanic at a car repair shop. Apparently more than one customer has had loose lugnuts. While the van was getting rekeyed at the dealer, I had them take a look at the front end and they could not see anything wrong with the right side. They drove it and said it was fine. So maybe I've driven around with the left side fucked for so long that I don't know what "normal" is anymore. I appreciate the concern about "taking care" of the vehicle by going to the Dodge, however the best thing about this vehicle is that it is paid for, and as long as it runs, I am okay with it. Sunday we added a nice dent to the roof when a baseball hit it at my sons baseball tournament. Hey if anyone is interested, at the Toyota dealer there is a '79 Corona in pretty good shape. It was a trade in. 113,000 miles. Best offer. They have it on the show room floor.

So....I put in the police report late Sunday and by Tuesday night, I had a home security company calling to offer their services. Then today, probably the same home security company, happened to be on our street looking to set up a 30 day free service for "volunteers". I wasn't here but one of my daughters was and told the guy that we had a theft. He responded that another neighbor down the street had reported one as well. They either are getting my name, phone and address from police reports or "theft" is how they drum up business for themselves!
