LOL, I can only imagine the bearded hipster, sitting in Starbucks furiously typing on his iPhone to blog about this. He wanted to move to Flatbush because it's more "real".

Thanks for driving up the rent cracker ass. The fucking Popeye's Chicken just went out of business for a used book store. The liquor and cash checking place is now a brunch restaurant. The guys on the street begging for cash are now wearing $175 Aeropostale jeans instead of piss-soaked fatigues. This isn't my neighborhood anymore!!!

I kid you not, there was a pimped out ho in the joint looking for dates. The wife and I passed. While I was next door putting gas in the family truxter, she came out, sent a text and a minute later her man rolled in in his mid 80 Caprice with 25 inch rims.

That's what I am saying. I have driven that route around the souf side of Madison dozens of times and never know how close i was to the hood. This popeyes is literally two blocks south of Highway 18, and it may as well have been in Cal City or Gary. The only thing missing was the bullet proof lazy susan used to serve the food while protecting the cash register.
