I recently learned that over the summer, I will be teaching three three week sessions of special ed. As lead teacher in a special ed classroom, naturally I will need classroom aides to help me.
Lo and behold, Lil' Miss Ghost has procured one of the jobs as my classroom aide. So in effect, I will be her direct supervisor over the summer. Not exactly sure if this is totally awesome, or a recipe for disaster.

You're fucked.
(or more likely... NOT fucked)
Good Luck & Keep us posted - but remember that she has access to your PC and can read your critiques of her job performance.

Leave the mrs. at home and you can at least be the boss at work.

You guys must have irritating women! I am not worried about it really. I have worked in the same building with her many times, and since we only have one car, we usually go everywhere together anyways. Besdies, it is only 16 hours a week, so it couldn't be that bad.

To be honest, my wife and I work together all day, every day. A lot of the time she is seeing patients while I am in the office, but we share an office, etc. It is great.

Just make sure you tell the kids (repeatedly) to put the seat down and everything should be fine.

An interesting dynamic to be sure Ghost. Without knowing your wife, I would say "ground rules" need to be set. Something along the lines of "what happens at work, stays at work."
I would imagine blurring work/home life lines could be rather nasty for either, or both, situation(s).

If you get a chance, bend her over a desk and throw one into her.
