It appears that the character issues in Iowa City are not just contained to the Athletic Department...what the hell is going on in Iowa City!?
Aftermath of brutal attack on UI student
The final blow could have killed him within 30 minutes.
It was a punch that smashed UI student Brian LaGro's skull, flooding blood between his skull and brain tissue and sending his body to the concrete sidewalk.
During the early hours of May 3, the 22-year-old was reportedly beaten by a group of people near the L&M Mighty Shop, 504 E. Burlington St. Although LaGro has been released from the hospital, the investigation is still going on; as of Thursday, police have not yet found any suspects. ... A group of people across the street saw him fall to the ground and immediately called police.
From the moment officers arrived at the scene and saw him lying unconscious, they knew his life was on the line. He was bleeding from his ears and had sustained several brutal blows to his head. ...
Bunch of fvcking pussies. I've never understood the 'gang fight' mentality. If you can't handle your business on your own and have to resort to getting your 'buddies' to do it for you, then I won't feel bad if you are sodamized by a pissed off horse. Ugh.

Attacks like this have always happened - everywhere. It's just that your "get off my lawn" characteristics are just beginning to bud.
Now if we talked about the evilness found in Rock&Roll.... that would be a different matter.

If I were this kid's brother I'd hunt down everyone involved and torture them mercilessly.

Now if we talked about the evilness found in Rock&Roll.... that would be a different matter. Yup. We had an incident in Chicago a couple years ago where 2 collar-popping douchebag frat boys beat a kid to death with a bike lock near UIC just because the kid stopped to ask them how them were doing when one of them was puking. Cops found the guys walking around a couple minutes later and they tried to deny any involvement. One of the guys fled the country and I know the other was on trial.
