There were articles out today that quoted him saying he gave up golf in August 2003... but then golfing in October 2003... coincidence or not, he had knee problems in the fall of 2003.

Also, he said he gave up candy for the troops - but was cited as eating "butterscotches" on Air Force One a few weeks later.



Most of us have learned to hold what he says in the same strainer we use for our loose stools.
