DirecTV/AT&T already fucking people

Hey dudes,

Has anyone who has DirecTV noticed any changes since the buyout? The reason I ask is before a week or two ago, I could swear that I could hit the "PREV" button and rewind the channel I was watching before. During commercials, I'd usually find something else to watch. Then, I's switch back to my primary show. If I watched the "other" show too long I could switch back and rewind to where the commercials ended. This would allow me to enjoy an evening of television without having to watch commercials at all.

Since the buyout, I've noticed I can no longer rewind if I hit the PREV button. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm guessing those assholes moved quick to ensure people wouldn't be able to circumvent watching commercials. It pisses me off and I'm cancelling it once the contract runs out. . . assholes.

I am a cable user and it is that time of year when I have to th hreaten to switch in order to beat them down to a price competitive with the new customer discount. It sucks that you have to do this so often.
