Jesus H. Christ, the Associated Press is still calling it a "homemade clock." Are you fucking kidding me? There is another story with great quotes from the family (http://thescoopblog.dallasnews.com/2015/10/ahmed-mohamed-will-move-to-qatar.html/): No retard, it is literally nothing like America. American multinationals may have put up a few outposts to attempt to homogenize Qatar just as they have tried to make Orlando and Boise indistinguishable, but that is where it ends. A modern form of slavery is practiced in Qatar. If you fuck up in Qatar, you are very unlikely to get due process and if you get in trouble and get an invite to meet the monarch, it will not end well. Nations built on Anglo-Franco representative governments are far and away better than shithole monarchies or totalitarian political regimes. Wrong, retard. There is no country that is more accepting of different people than the United States of America. In Qatar, you will forever be Sudanese trash. Your family will retain that label for generations. Kudos to you for being able to trick people into thinking your 85 IQ son is a genius, but he will be quickly exposed for a fraud when placed among the high achieving Middle Easterners and South Asians whom he will encounter in a first class educational setting in Qatar.

LOL, thinks are too rough for Muslims in America. Let's move to Qatar, where blasphemy is punishable by death!

Isn't Qatar the country where a DUI literally costs you an arm? You can't tell time on a clock with one arm. Not a solid prospect for the greatest clock inventor in the world.

This is sofaking dead on. Moslems are way more accepted here than they are in Europe, and you better fucking answer the "sunni or shia" question right in the middle east or you're flirting with summary execution by some fanatical thug.

Yeah, it did in mah cousin from Humboldt, too. Poor bastard was in the Dirty Dodge one night. Was driving home up 169 and something must have malfunctioned in his car. Crashed her right into a barn going about 60 bince he had the cruise control on and punctured an anhydrous ammonia tank, causing the barn to burn down. In his shock, he decided to drink 15 beers while waiting for emergency services to arrive and the fuckers charged him with DUI. What I do know is he did NOT get shitfaced in Dodge, pass out in his car and drive it right into a barn.

So how did "I wasn't drinking and driving, I drank the beers while waiting for LEO" work for your cousin? I used to work with a guy that drove off Highway 30 late one night. He climbed into the backseat and claimed someone he didn't know was giving him a ride home because he was too drunk to drive. His lawyer got the DUI charge dropped.

Alright Pardner, looks like Daddy's ready to cash in. I am dying for your thoughts on this, if you have time to read through the whole thing: www.scribd.com/embeds/290862747/content?start_page=1&view_mode=scroll&show_recommendations=true Other damages are more conducive to quantification. Ahmed and his siblings had the right to a free and adequate public education, just like every other American child does. Ahmed first attended Irving ISD in pre-K, and he and all of his siblings had gone to school nearly exclusively in the Irving ISD. When, two days after the incident, in coordination with the City, Mr. Cummings went onto the MacArthur High School intercom system and called Ahmed and his family liars, he took that opportunity away from Ahmed and all of his siblings.
Ahmed also has suffered severe psychological trauma during his involuntarily separation from his grandmother and extended family. This trauma has since been amplified due to the global media attention this incident has gathered. Ahmed and his siblings know that his life has inalterably changed. Ahmed will now forever be associated with bomb making wholly without basis. Many believe that Ahmed and his family are terrorists, similar to those responsible for the September 11th attacks on the Twin Towers. This false characterization brings both short- and long-term challenges. In the short-term Ahmed fears for his physical safety after receiving many threatening emails.
In the long-term, we adults should know that despite Ahmed’s efforts to be strong, and to prove that he is “a good boy” he will experience pain and suffering as result of this for the rest of his days. A large segment of potential employers will steer clear of Ahmed to avoid controversy, despite his many obvious talents. There is no other way to put it: Ahmed’s reputation in the global community is permanently scarred. One also would anticipate that Ahmed, quite reasonably, will have a lifelong fear of the law enforcement and educational establishments that have let him down so terribly.
...
As a result of the above described violations of Ahmed’s constitutional, statutory, and common law rights, and the damages flowing from those violations, we demand the following:
1. Ten million dollars as compensation for the damages Ahmed suffered at the hands of the City of Irving and its employees.
2. A written apology from Mayor Van Duyne acknowledging that she has never been presented with any evidence that Ahmed was a “pawn” in any “civilization jihad” or that the events here were planned by Ahmed’s family or friends as part of an “influence operation.”

2. A written apology from Mayor Van Duyne acknowledging that she has never been presented with any evidence that Ahmed was a “pawn” in any “civilization jihad” or that the events here were planned by Ahmed’s family or friends as part of an “influence operation.”Hm, first thing I'd do is send the law firm back an email with a link to the story I put above that completely rebuts the idea that Ahmed "assembled" anything (which I fucking said immediately upon seeing the thing) and the email would include a statement to the effect of "Someone seems to have stolen your letterhead and used it to pass off a demand letter." There are some problematic aspects that they cite, such as the allegation that Ahmed was not allowed to call his parents in contravention of state law and that he wasn't given a Miranda warning or right to have counsel present. Unfortunately, for the plaintiffs, unless someone gets shot or beaten Rodney King style, good luck establishing any sort of damages for this type of thing. On the flip side, the bulk of damages claimed were caused by the family's attempts to publicize the event and the backlash that came when retards people realized that the whole thing was a fucking hoax, which again, I identified immediately. And then the family actually derived substantial benefit by taking this thing public, including meeting with the fucking POTUS in between Beer Summits and rounds of golf. I suspect there is a lot more to the school's side of the story that they are not at liberty to disclose because of privacy laws (some of which may have been breached already, but again, good luck proving damages) and that the lawsuit will allow the school system to freely disclose that information, which will not be favorable to young Ahmed. Based on what I've seen from this kid, he is goofy, but not smart goofy, which is what MIT material is, so his fucking nonsense about MIT is a total fucking joke. I would also weigh options for a countersuit if I were the city and seek recompense for the costs they probably incurred as a result of this bullshit.

While I agree that this kid is a doofus, his old man is a sleazy opportunist, and he has as much as chance at getting into MIT as Scooter does being named Miss America, after reading this, it seems pretty clear that an asshole cop with a bone to pick with teh Mooslims decided to take his rage out on this loser kid for no reason, and the cops rapidly tried to cover their tracks once it got out in public.
