Wow, go to U of C and stand accused of falsifying your transcript to a BMCLF? In addition to being accused of neglecting to mention that you got booted from med school when applying to law school? www.iardc.org/08CH0032CM.htmlWell this guy is now at a BMNYLF. www.cm-p.com/attorneys_associates_friedman.htmHey ralphmaccio & autolykos, can I still find work at your BMCLF, despite having a J.D. from a 6th tier Chicago law school?

What a d-nozzle. He had pretty shitty grades from U of C. He probably would not have gotten an offer at a BMCLF - maybe a MMCLF, but probably not BMCLF.
You can get a job if you have a family member who is politically connected, such as a US Senator, elder Alderman, Mayor, Cook County Commish, etc.

IOW, this should confirm our prior discussion that an ugly broad who is on the law review at DePaul with an undergrad degree from Okefenokee State (summa cum laude) is in better position to become an associate at BMCLF than a guy who is in the top third of his class at Yale Law School and is a magna cum laude graduate of Stanford?

Nice try Detlef, Yale doesn't rank the socially inept artards it churns out. Out of 10 Yale summer associates I've seen come through BMCLF, zero have gone on to become associates.
Given that it costs well over $100k to bring someone in the door, I think they should stop recruiting Yale and go after more from DePaul, Kent and Loyola, as I did on campus interviewing at DePaul last year and found the students to be pretty good for the most part - they seemed a lot more likely to be able to stomach the 6 pm kick in the balls that keeps you in the office 'til 2 than many of the Ivy students. But, the powers that be will take any schlub with a pulse in the top half at U of C or anyone from Yale or Harvard and lock out people from the second tier local schools.

Chicago-Kent is 2d tier? Darn, I gotta apply to BMCLF for its surety & fidelity law practice...if such an animal exists.
