BTR Gets A Chance at the Public Trough

A lot of what started this board was me asking for thoughts on whether the HN though BTR should be paying me back for hawkeye tickets last year. We went round and round about why it was that I purchased the tickets especially in light of his abundance of extra cheddar. One of the reason he cited was that I got a tax break for making the voluntary contribution.

Now I hear BTR gets to feed with the poors by getting a tax refund. Assuming he didn't spend it all on the chicken biscuit yesterday at McDougal's, I think he should have to send that government issued cheddar to me until after the season. The net effect is that he will carry the freight this year on the tickets, and I MIGHT pay him back. Thoughts?

(Oh and before BTR says that Ma won't let him hand it over, querry whether she expects - and will therefore even miss - a refund from the government)

Hey asshat, I don't itemize my deductions, you need to keep the damn tickets in your name otherwise our verbal contract wherein I pay you for my half of the tickets, net of Tax Benefits (as defined in our verbal contract) will fall apart. Well, I don't know for sure that a roid was, in fact, the reason you were walking bow legged. You and Leon were pretty chummy right before that, so there are other explanations for that.

Since you want to spout off about "verbal agreements," you should know that I think we need to revisit the agreement. Had I known you were eligible for the refund, I would never have allowed the contract to be extended. I think - bince that is my $700 you got from the government - that you should give it back to me until such time as I attend all of the games this Fall.

This confirms the suspicion that Autolykos and I have had about you all along. You're really a knuckle-dragging liberal that breathes out your mouth pausing only to ask for your monthly welfare. Have fun at your next B. Hussein Obama rally.
