Ugh, that poor bastard is $285k in debt. Oh well, I'm sure the government underwrote the loans so Uncle Sug can just write it off. I sincerely hope that at some point the law school model whittles itself down to just the flagship state schools and a dozen or so elite schools. Iowa doesn't need 2 fucking law schools. North Carolina doesn't need 7 fucking law schools (they had 8 until the for profit one that the company that owns the school mentioned in that article folded).

It’s an inspiring example of the fact that perseverance may possibly pay off at some point in time.

It’s an inspiring example of the fact that perseverance may possibly pay off at some point in time. While I appreciate the optimism, the only way this guy's perseverance is going to pay off is if he gets shot by a police officer attempting to drag him off of an airplane on an overbooked flight in one of his future stabs at finally passing the bar exam.

That almost makes me feel bad for nailing the highest score in the state the year I took it. Almost.

I spent 7.5 hours watching the fucking wills and trusts shit over the past 3 days. Fucking A. I have worked on a bunch of trust shit for rich people and pension funds, but the most hours I have spent on trusts were as follows:
1) Represented an entity that was at fault for a shitload of asbestos claims and had to negotiate trust agreement opposite a half dozen toxic tort lawyers from big NY and DC firms and a group of king of torts type plaintiff lawyers.
2) Represented a liquidation trust from a massive fucking corporate clusterfuck - drafted trust documents and spent months on getting interests in trust registered under the Securities Act.
3) Represented recovery trust from massive corporate malfeasance case and established distribution procedures and a waterfall based on priority of securities.
I hate the fucking bar with a passion. This trust shit is all about not being a fuckstick when you draft it and I'll bet these worthless profs would shit their pants if they had to take pen to paper and write a fucking actual document, but I have to memorize totally useless shit like the fucking elements of the cy pres doctrine.

Now watching family law and the guy (who uses gay couples in every fucking example) just said "you got your law degree from Seattle University or Arizona State University and you decide you're gonna go work at Cravath and become a partner and make the big bucks." These fucking people.

I trust you are drinking while drafting this stuff. The best way to draft that shit is to find something substantially similar and plagiarize the hell out of it.
