"HOW" do you tip the nice folks who deliver your goods and services (NOT SOAPLAND OR FUCKIN WEIRD GERMAN CIRCLE JERKS) when things necessitate? Do you always use cash, because it makes you feel like your knobs are fukin low? Do you add it on to the credit card to save your cash for the budtenders and powerball pools?
Furthermore, does anyone tip the grocery baggers/porters at Fareway, or other Grocery stores that insist on carrying your shit out for you?
What the fuck?

20% + rounding up to the nearest $5 at restaurants. Delivery is always cash so they don't have to report and I know goes to them.

Rather than money I give them life tips. Like I'll write down my favorite bible verse. Or tell them something they could do to make them look more pretty.

Or tell them something they could do to make them look more pretty. The pizza delivery boys must flip a coin to see who has to deliver your order

Take a tip from the Europeans. Tips are for shitheads that can't be paid a fair wage. No tip for you Bernie lovers I always tip 20% for wait staff or other people.. I would gladly pay extra for food if I knew people were getting paid a decent wage and didn’t have to survive on tips. In Germany when we lived there, you didn’t tip but usually rounded up the bill. Don’t know that the wait staff got that though. My daughter and her husband are going to Germany next month. One of her friends has lived there and was recalling how they went to a restaurant and after waiting for two hours asked why it was taking so long and was told by the waitress that maybe if they wanted their food faster they should go home and cook it themselves!

On our French trip in HS, when the group ate together... W made a habit of essentially harrassing the server/Garcon They would deliver a carafe of water/leau... 10 seconds after turning around to leave, we would have it emptied into glasses and downed. So we asked for more. Repeat until cannot drink more. However as thanks, we would all leave any coin money we has on us. One Garcon got over $120.

Most of the time I don’t tip and if I do it’s only a couple of bucks and maybe to a place that I patronize a lot. Tip jar at coffee places? Nope.

What's the tipping protocol on carry out food orders. Also Other should be an option for all online polls you fucking cretins. For restaurants with full table service it's a $1 flat fee plus $0.75 per person with a $3 cap for parties of 6 or less. Then it's $0.25 for the 7th through the 10th plate. Orders for 10 or more people is 10% of the total bill rounded up to the nearest dollar. If I order from a counter and carry my food to my table on a tray it's $0.25 per person in parties of 4 or more. For parties of less than 4 the only way you are getting a tip is if I'm paying cash and it's more trouble to put the change in my pocket than what it's worth.
