Do you want a young guy with fresh idea who will take us in a different direction or do you want an old dude who plans to stay the course and lead America further down the self-destructive path we are on? In other words a weaker dollar, higher cost of living, and more debt.
You do what you want, but between these two I'm probably voting for Obama.

I'll have to take the old dude. At least, we'll still be America and not Europe.

I still think "Hope, Promise, Change" is better than McCain's current mantra- "Hey, I was a POW 40 years ago" Maybe I am wrong though, since McCain is clearly getting people excited with his particular brand of energenic leadership.

"I got shot down. Therefore I should be president."
John McCain's argument for the oval office.

Not a fresh idea, just not American. The whole "American Dream" it to be able to start with nothing and get everything. What Obama wants is for everyone to only get something, even if you don't earn it. More debt?? Really?? Look at what Obama is proposing. How much do you think it's going to cost. Look at his proposed spending. It will be the nail in the coffin.

He's proposing to get us out of Iraq... that right there wins him my vote. The Iraq war is such a drain on our economy, that its cost has been and continues to be much greater than any social programs Obama will manage to institute.
I don't want the US to become a socialist country any more than it already is, but I also don't want it to continue to be a "stupid f*ckhead" country which is what it is under George Bush, and will continue to be under McCain most likely. I'm sick of the idiotic moves that have ruined the economy and skyrocketed the cost of living. And I'm mainly talking about this retarded war we got tricked into. Absolutely inexcusable and that why I am voting for a change in November.

"I got shot down. Therefore I should be president." John McCain's argument for the oval office. So Obama's, I haven't accomplished anything in office so I deserve to be president works? And no I do not believe that Mccain being shot down makes him worthy of president. 30 years as a senator and on several big committees does though. By the way, you have a boy or a girl? Is he/she in isolation or on a breathing tube at all?

Public Service Announcement From Iowafan1: Socialism is not a fresh idea. It is an idea that has been tried countless times and has failed miserably in every Country around the globe in which it has been attempted.

That's obviously photoshopped. These people are watching the genius that is KOKw and the Iowa O from last year. I know that's how excited I was.
