He's not going to the NFL this year. He should. I would guess KF will have the same talk he had with Freddy and Dallas and he will be picked in the second round of this years draft.

Did Freddy even get drafted? He was all worried about the deep stable of RBs we had, then when we finished what would have been his senior season, Sam Brownlee was the starter, IIRC. The downsides to staying are obviously grade/injury/O'Kweefe blowing his senior season issues, but the upside could be the difference between being a first rounder and a second or third rounder. The difference in cash between the two can be pretty big.

Why do you think he should? Until this year, no one had heard of Shonn. This is his first college year of carrying the ball. He's inexperienced. For his stock to rise, he needs to play another year.

Can you do the NFL combine and still come back for your senior season?
It seems they NFL weighs heavily, probably too much, on the combine. If he puts on a good performance, he's for sure 1st day this year.

I believe you can do the combine and go back to college, as long as you don't hire an agent.

In that case, I think he will go pro. He's got the size and speed, and think he will tear up the combine.
His only downside is his hands. He will probably not be a 3rd down back ala Ronnie Harmon.
